Only 4 pieces of mica were found near the pontil area, but they are indeed there. This is an exceptional piece from my collection, a hybrid of sorts. The butterscotch /Custard types can vary in opacity and overall style This one is translucent and boasts several stylistic features. First, the red panels on the surface contrasting with thebase colour. Next, the addition of the white bands, and as well some fine black strands. And last, of course the few pieces of mica. Just some asmades on her, one more notable inclusion, a couple smaller ones. One pin and pop seen under loupe. Completely clean. The last picture shows my variety of these types ranging from completely translucent to the banded opaque style. Enjoy!
